Kathryn grew up in Kingston, Jamaica and came to Canada for the first time, to study Interior Design. From a young age, she had a passion for the visual and creative arts, and it was then that she told her parents she would be pursuing a creative career. Her passions vary from painting and drawing to poetry to technical drawing. This past summer, she interned at FORREC Ltd, an entertainment design firm in Toronto, Canada. The summer prior, she interned with a local Jamaican firm called GW Architects Ltd. Growing up, she developed a love for hospitality design, since she was in a country that invests a lot into tourism. As such, her ultimate aspiration is to work in the hospitality industry both in Canada and Jamaica.
Kathryn spends her Saturdays conducting Visual Arts Sessions with the elderly at the EverGreen retirement home in Mississauga.
